HCG Platinum is a provider of a wide range of weight loss products that uses a proprietary blend of ingredients known to encourage the body to burn fat, lower cholesterol, and reduce weight. Their original product, HCG Platinum, is an HCG-based product that is meant to be used in combination with a very low calorie diet as per Dr. Simeons original HCG diet protocol. In addition to the HCG hormone, HCG Platinum also contains three powerful amino acids, L-Arginine, Acety L-Carnitine, and L-Ornithine, designed to enhance HCGs fat-burning effect. HCG or human chorionic gondotrophin is a hormone naturally found in the bodies of pregnant women. One of its main roles is to ensure that the fetus gets enough nutrients even when the mother is consuming very little food. It accomplishes this by burning stored fat to supplement low food intake. Downsides

There were a handful of HCG Platinum X-30 reviews on external sites that found it less effective than the original HCG Platinum product. These reviews raise the possibility that Irvingia gabonensis is less effective than the HCG hormone. The good news is that dieters do have a choice of purchasing the HCG-based original formulation instead of HCG Platinum x-30 because it is still being sold on the site. It would be better though if the difference between the two products is better emphasized so that dieters can make an informed decision on whether they want to use the HCG-based product or the Irvingia gabonensis. Since both have HCG as part of the product name, distinguishing between the two can be difficult. In addition, it is not clear whether they will continue to produce the HCG drops or are simply using up old inventory.
